On 20 September 2025, the BUG Group will once again open the doors of the Pasewalk Locomotive Shed as part of the nationwide Rail Day. The event is open to everyone who is passionate about the fascinating world of railways — or would like to discover it for the first time.
A particular highlight this year: one of our four railway slewing cranes will be in operation on site. Visitors will have the opportunity to take a seat in the operator’s cab and experience first-hand what it is like to work with such an impressive specialist machine. Expert guidance will provide fascinating insights into its technology, controls and areas of application.
Rail Day stands for transparency, innovation and dialogue — and so do we. Whether young or old, a technology enthusiast, someone starting their career or simply curious, everyone is warmly invited to learn more about the tasks, challenges and opportunities within the rail industry.
